Kelly Martin is my Special Guest Today!

Let's give a warm round of applause for Kelly Martin!

I want to thank Lynn for having me on her blog today. I’m on tour right now talking about my new book, THE DECEPTIION OF DEVIN MILLER. I decided to make this a list tour where I list things that interest me and maybe you all can learn a little bit more about me.

Here are my top 10 favorite movies of all time! (You can learn a lot by someone’s movie picks ;) )

1)    Ghostbusters (Who ya gonna call?)

2)    The Princess Bride (“As you wish.” Swoon!)

3)    Armageddon (I DARE You not to cry!)

4)    The Birds (I watch it every time I see it on TV)

5)    Scream (I’ve been told DEVIN MILLER has a Scream-ish scene in it. Not gory, but it matches the suspense… monsters jumping out of closets and all…)

6)    The Avengers (I’m a Hawkeye fan myself…)

7)    Iron Man (all of them. Tony Stark is just so likeable… but I don’t know why ;) )

8)    Titanic (Why didn’t Rose let the man on the door? AND if she had gotten in the boat like she was supposed to, Jack could have had the door all to himself… I’m not a Rose fan…)

9)    Tremors (Graboids! I think of this movie every time I have a great idea. I have been known to scream in the words of Val running toward the cliff…. “I’VE GOT A PLAN!!!!”)

10)A Walk to Remember (Jamie… oh Jamie L *sniff*)

There you have it. My top 10 favorite movies of all time. Are any of your favorites on the list?

So… what is Devin Miller all about? One month ago, seventeen year old Devin Miller wrecked while intoxicated— or so she’s told by the sightly ticked off blue-eyed boy when she wakes up from a coma. The only thing Devin remembers is the darkness holding her down and the voices-- some happy, some upset, and one very agitated. She can't remember her name, her age, where she lives, or who in the world the blue-eyed boy is. But he knows her and against her better judgment, she offers to pay him for his memories so she can trick the ones closest to her into thinking she's fine.

That is her first mistake.

When Devin gets home, the deception is harder than she thought. People she doesn't know keep talking to her. Trey (the blue-eyed boy) doesn't show up like he said he would. And the police want to talk to her about her involvement with the car accident. Plus she keeps seeing flashes of the wreck, but none of them make sense. What would a red plastic cup have to do with anything? And why can't she seem to trust the people she is supposed to trust the most?

Facing DUI charges for a wreck she can't recall, Devin fights to remember exactly what happened the night of the crash: something the real driver desperately wants her to forget permanently.

Who is really doing the deceiving?
